Policies

Operational Policies for Bespoke Orders

These policies set expectations around booking, changes, delivery, and food suitability so both the client and the studio have a clear working framework.

Booking and lead time

  • Orders are confirmed only after quote approval and deposit payment.
  • Lead time depends on calendar availability and event complexity.
  • Short-notice requests may be declined if the date cannot be handled properly.

Changes and cancellations

  • Design or serving changes may alter the quoted price.
  • Late changes are accepted only where production timing allows.
  • Cancellation and refund handling depends on how close the request is to production or delivery.

Delivery, setup, and handover

  • Delivery and setup costs are quoted according to distance, timing, and installation scope.
  • Venue access and setup surfaces should be confirmed in advance for larger cakes.
  • Once collected or signed over, safe storage and handling become the client or venue's responsibility.

Allergens and suitability

  • All dietary and allergen requests must be declared at enquiry stage.
  • Suitability is reviewed case by case rather than assumed.
  • A bespoke cake studio environment cannot guarantee the absence of all trace allergens unless stated otherwise in writing.

Questions can be resolved before you book

If your event has unusual logistics, venue restrictions, or dietary considerations, include those details in your enquiry so the quote can be built around them properly.
